Sponsorship does make a difference

BravoBravo! has realized tremendous success towards the goal of
introducing many young people to the breathtaking Detroit Opera House, while laying the groundwork for the Opera House’s next generation of avid supporters. Without our sponsors none of this would be possible. We need your help and we thank everyone that has helped us in the past.

Since its inception in 2000, BravoBravo! has introduced more than 4,000 young professionals to the richly diverse cultural offerings of Detroit. Showcasing Detroit’s finest food, drink and entertainment, the event has raised nearly $300,000 towards the continual improvement and sustainability of the Opera House.

In 2007, BravoBravo! attracted 2,000 supporters while raising more than $170,000 in one evening. The attendees were upwardly mobile and educated, with an average age between 21 and 50, drawn equally from the tri-county area.

40 restaurants, bars and clubs collectively participated in 2006, representing an eclectic mix of Detroit’s finest – from Coney dogs to sushi and margaritas to martinis.

BravoBravo! continues to gain momentum and create a buzz in Detroit. Many of Detroit’s social and civic “up-and-comers” enthusiastically serve on the volunteer planning committee.
